A court in Moscow sent 7 hackers from the REvil group to a pre-trial detention center KXan 36 Daily News

The Tverskoy Court of Moscow arrested Alexei Malozemov, Dmitry Korotaev and Artem Zayets in the case of the REvil hacker group. At the moment, the court is considering a petition from the investigation for a measure of restraint for the eighth member of the group – Daniil Puzyrevsky.

Earlier, four more defendants were sent to a pre-trial detention center for two months in this case. All of them are suspected under Part 2 of Art. 187 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – in the illegal turnover of means of payment committed by an organized group. However, according to RG, in the near future they may be charged with illegal access to computer information and extortion.

The special operation against the Russian members of REvil began after the US intelligence agencies gave their Russian colleagues information about the identity of the leader of the hackers in Russia. In total, 14 people were detained in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other cities.
