According to bourgas.ru, today, at 4:04, astronomical autumn has come in Bulgaria, which this year comes along with the calendar one.

Autumn comes with cool and cloudy weather, the morning will be cold with temperatures ranging from 3 to 8 degrees. On the first official autumn day, it will be mostly cloudy throughout the country, with daytime temperatures ranging from 10 to 17 degrees Celsius.

Autumn is one of the four seasons in the temperate zone, along with spring, summer and winter. Astronomically, it begins on the autumnal equinox (around September 23 in the Northern Hemisphere and March 21 in the Southern Hemisphere). In meteorology, a different convention is used – the autumn months are September, October and November in the Northern Hemisphere and March, April and May in the Southern Hemisphere.

Autumn is a transitional season with sometimes quite warm temperatures at the start (gypsy summer) and moderate or cooler towards the end, when the winter solstice (around December 21 in the Northern Hemisphere and June 21 in the Southern Hemisphere) marks the astronomical start of the winter solstice.

Autumn, like other seasons, is due to the tilt of the earth’s axis, which is 23.5 ° relative to the plane of the orbit in which the Earth moves. Because of this tilt, different parts of the planet are exposed to different illumination from the sun.
