During customs inspection, a cartridge press, 98 rifle cartridges and 2,600 shells of various calibers were found in the baggage. They were hidden in various places – in the recesses of beach umbrellas, in irons, in metal bars and in cans in passengers’ checked-in luggage.
The seized items are not under special control under the Arms, Ammunition and Explosives Act, but due to their commercial quantity, an undeclared total of 2,699 items of ammunition were seized. Measures have been taken to initiate an administrative criminal case in accordance with the Law on Customs.
The foreigner left as a tourist on a charter flight to Iran on 09/15/2022.
