In addition, over 161.3 thousand representatives of the Armed Forces who had contact with infected COVID-19 were removed from medical control after two weeks of quarantine and control testing.

To date, 1,319 military personnel who have tested positive for coronavirus are under medical supervision. 616 patients with a new coronavirus infection are in military hospitals. 14 military men are being treated by civilian doctors. Another 689 people are isolated at home.

It is reported that the vast majority of the disease is asymptomatic. However, two soldiers are in critical condition. Doctors diagnosed the average severity of the disease in three more infected with coronavirus.

According to the data, 70 people with coronavirus have been identified among military employees, cadets and students of universities of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. In civilian personnel of the Armed Forces, a dangerous infection was found in 177 employees.

The department noted that about a thousand and a hundred people are now being treated in 18 multidisciplinary medical centers of the Russian Defense Ministry, 176 of which are civilians. “Patients receive all types of specialized care, from diagnostics to surgical treatment for the widest range of pathologies, including those affected by coronavirus infection,” the Russian Defense Ministry said.

The bulletin says that since the start of the work of multidisciplinary centers built by the Russian Ministry of Defense in 16 regions of the country, more than 30.5 thousand patients have received medical care there, more than 11.8 thousand of which are civilians. “All of them received the necessary treatment in hospitals at medical centers, recovered and were discharged,” the ministry said.

To date, 527,224 people have undergone planned revaccination in the Armed Forces, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
