EU urged Russia to cancel decree on humanitarian support for Donbass – RBK

The European Union is calling for the abolition of decree Russian President Vladimir Putin on humanitarian support for the self-proclaimed Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, so as not to aggravate the situation in eastern Ukraine. “We call on Russia to reverse this decision and stop taking unilateral actions that will only provoke a further deterioration in the situation in eastern Ukraine,” the statement said.

Earlier, on November 15, Putin signed a decree according to which goods from the LPR and DPR received the right of easy access to the Russian market “before a political settlement.”
