Russia and Israel are discussing the recognition of certificates of vaccination against COVID-19 by the Russian drug Sputnik Light. About this newspaper “Izvestia” reported Ambassador of the country to Russia Alexander Ben Zvi at the Moscow International Conference on Combating Xenophobia under the auspices of the Russian Jewish Congress.

“We are discussing this issue, the issue of recognition of Sputnik Light, everything is on the agenda. All of this is being discussed, but the main topic is Sputnik V, since most of the Russian population has been vaccinated with it, ”he said.

Now the ministries of tourism and health of each of the countries are negotiating on technical issues, the diplomat explained. In particular, we are talking about “ensuring checks so that people can come, but at the same time do not pose a threat either to themselves or to the population in Israel.”
