Pavel Malkov: It is required to build five waste sorting complexes in the Ryazan region
In the Ryazan region, an integrated system for handling municipal solid waste will be created. Governor Pavel Malkov announced this on his Telegram channel.
“Residents of the region often complain about the poor system of garbage collection. They write to me on social networks, they talk at meetings. The complaints are justified, we are actively dealing with the issue,” he wrote.
Pavel Malkov discussed the implementation of the project with Denis Butsaev, General Director of the Russian Ecological Operator.
“By 2025, it is necessary to ensure 100% waste sorting. This requires the construction of five sorting complexes, the reconstruction of four landfills, the creation of a composting site, and the modernization of two existing processing facilities. We have developed specific solutions, we will implement them,” the governor wrote.
