American striker of the Yaroslavl “Locomotive” Reed Bush confessed to the rape of a minor.
According to Detroit Free Press, the hockey player confessed to the crime he committed in 2011. Then he was 17 years old, and his victim – 12. Boucher made a confession on December 13 last year at a court hearing in Washteno County.
Initially, the player faced 25 years for a first-degree sex crime, but during the course of the hearing, Boucher applied for a lesser charge, which was accepted by the court. Reportedly, the victim was extremely unhappy with this decision.
The player’s agent declined to comment on this information.
