Media: ex-head of the Kalininsky district of St. Petersburg detained on suspicion of embezzlement

The St. Petersburg police detained the former head of the Kalininsky district of St. Petersburg Ivan Gromov on suspicion of embezzlement. Shortly before the arrest, he left the post of leader of his own free will. According to Izvestia, Gromov is suspected of embezzling more than 150 million rubles. According to preliminary data, the official committed criminal activities as the head of the informatization committee. Earlier, the Simferopol court arrested the former Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea Yevgeny Kabanov for two months. He was charged with embezzling 57 million rubles from the budget.
