Grushko: NATO should stop military assistance to Ukraine for de-escalation

“In order to facilitate such a de-escalation … NATO countries must stop all military assistance to Ukraine,” he said.

This includes supplying weapons to Ukraine, sending instructors, officers and soldiers there, Grushko said. He specified that this is stipulated by the provisions of the Minsk agreements.

Grushko also said that it is necessary to force the authorities in Kiev to full and unconditional implementation of the Minsk agreements.

The Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia called a heart-to-heart conversation meeting of the Russia-NATO Council, held in Brussels on 12 January.

Also Grushko said about the absence of a unifying positive agenda at the present time between Moscow and the North Atlantic Alliance.

According to him, NATO devotes colossal resources for the task of containing Russia.
