A charity run will be held in St. Petersburg in support of elderly people and children in need – Good deed – Saint-Petersburg News

On June 25, Primorsky Victory Park will host a charity run organized by the Bright Life Foundation in support of the elderly, orphans and children with serious illnesses.

This will be the seventh run. Participants will run one of the selected distances for 3 km, 5 km, 10 km under the motto “Together we will help faster.” The collected funds will be used to help the elderly, orphans and children with serious illnesses.

Also in the program of the event: show program, Fitness Open Air, interactive zones for children and adults. There will be a children’s run for children.

At the finish, each participant will receive a medal of participation in the race, and the winners of the first three places of each distance will receive memorable gifts from the organizer and sponsors of the marathon.

Anyone can take part in the run. Waiting for the event and spectators who will support the runners. The opening of the launch town is scheduled for 9 a.m. near the fountain on Krestovsky Island. At 11.00 – start of the race.

Over 4,200 participants took part in the Bright Life race over the past six years. In addition, the event was supported by more than 100 companies. Thanks to partners and participants in the race, the fund paid for the treatment of 30 children for a total of 2,510,432 rubles.

The Bright Life Charitable Foundation has been helping orphans, the elderly and children with serious illnesses for 11 years. There are 680 elderly people under the care of the foundation. The Foundation oversees orphanages and nursing homes, supports other NGOs through the I Want to Help app, and promotes philanthropy in Russia.
