The armed forces of Azerbaijan have violated the ceasefire in the area of ​​the Sarybab height in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was announced on Wednesday, August 3, in the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The Bulletin of the Russian Defense Ministry on the activities of Russian peacekeepers in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict states that the situation is aggravated in the area of ​​responsibility of the contingent. About it writes RIA Novosti. “The command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, together with representatives of the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides, is taking measures to stabilize the situation,” the Russian Defense Ministry said.

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reported that as part of a retaliatory special operation, the army of the republic took control of several heights in Nagorno-Karabakh. It was noted that the operation was carried out in response to the actions of “illegal Armenian armed groups”, which violated the terms of the ceasefire statement in Nagorno-Karabakh.
