Nurmagomedov called the idea of participating in The Ultimate Fighter with Ferguson a good idea
Russian mixed martial artist (MMA) Khabib Nurmagomedov responded to the proposal of the American Tony Ferguson take part in the reality show The Ultimate Fighter. The athlete’s statement is available on social networks.
Nurmagomedov, 33, called Ferguson’s idea a good one and asked the American to contact the leadership of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), under whose auspices The Ultimate Fighter is being produced. The Russian hinted that he could also offer Ferguson a project on the platform of his Eagle FC organization.
Formerly 38-year-old Ferguson proposed Nurmagomedov to become trainers in a reality show. The American stressed that he respects the former UFC champion and is ready to shake his hand.
Ferguson and Nurmagomedov could meet five times in the UFC lightweight division, but their fights fell through. In particular, the American was supposed to fight with the Russian for the promotion champion title in the spring of 2020.
