DPR nationalizes Ukrainian banks and infrastructure – Ukraine: Former USSR:

The head of the DPR Pushilin signed a decree on the nationalization of infrastructure facilities and banks

Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin signed decrees on the nationalization of water supply, energy supply, railway infrastructure and property of banks located in the territories that came under the control of the DPR. This is reported TASS.

According to the resolutions of the DPR State Defense Committee headed by Pushilin, objects of the unified water supply and sanitation system, objects related to the production and transportation of electrical and thermal energy, as well as objects of the unified system of the DPR railway industry will be transferred to state ownership without compensation to the former owners.

In addition, the movable and immovable property of Ukrainian banks, which belonged to them as of February 19, 2022, will be nationalized. Valuables found in their safes, ATMs, vaults and payment terminals are transferred to the ownership of the Central Republican Bank of the DPR.

Previously reportedthat the DPR allowed the import of goods from three Ukrainian regions: Kharkiv, Kherson and Zaporozhye. The corresponding decree was signed by Denis Pushilin.
