PAVLODAR. KAZINFORM – Akimats of Pavlodar region, which allowed steppe fires to turn into forest fires, are being sued. This was announced by the head of the regional territorial inspection of forestry and wildlife Ruslan Tulepbaev, Kazinform reports with reference to Pavlodarnews.kz.
“Responsibility for the fire, which caused the fire of the forest fund, is borne by the farmer, on whose land the steppe fire occurred. If the perpetrators cannot be identified, lawsuits are filed against akimats for failure to take measures to timely eliminate steppe fires,” the speaker explained.
In particular, according to R. Tulepbaev, forest protection agencies filed a lawsuit against the akimats of Bashmachnoye and Zhelezinka villages to recover 3 million tenge for forest fires.
The head of the regional territorial inspection of forestry and wildlife said that this year out of 116 cases of forest fires, 12 were caused by the transition of steppe fires to the territory of the state forest fund. Two people were punished for violating fire safety rules in the forests. They were fined 53.6 thousand tenge.
Previously reportedthat most of the forest fires in the Pavlodar region occurred due to lightning discharges.
