HRC member Andrei Babushkin dies at age 58
At the age of 58, a member of the presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights (HRC) Andrey Babushkin. On Saturday, May 14, reports RIA News.
The Council also promised to additionally inform about the time and place of farewell.
Andrei Babushkin was born in 1964 in Moscow. In 1990 he became a deputy of the Moscow City Council, a year later he headed the capital’s commission on prisons and crime prevention. From 1993 to 1995 he was the Executive Director of the Society of Penitentiary Trustees.
