Bloomberg: NATO’s new strategy could designate Russia as an immediate threat

In the new strategy NATO Russia can be labeled as an “immediate threat”. About it informs Bloomberg, citing its own NATO source.

In the previous version of the NATO Strategic Concept, published in 2010, Russia was considered as a partner of the North Atlantic Alliance. According to a Bloomberg source, NATO members do not exclude that partnerships with Moscow will be renewed if its policy changes.

The new strategic concept also touches upon issues related to support for neighboring states that are threatened by aggression or coercion. In addition, it will describe the position on China and Sino-Russian relations.
