According to the prosecutor’s office, the offender was caught red-handed while receiving four thousand dollars for the production of a volunteer certificate. The man was taken into custody. He was charged with illegally transporting Ukrainian citizens of military age across the border.
On February 24, after the start of the Russian special operation, martial law was introduced in Ukraine. Each subsequent month, the country’s authorities extended it. In addition, the President of the Republic Vladimir Zelensky announced a general mobilization, which was also extended in May until 23 August.
Parliament of Ukraine approved the decree of March 3 by Volodymyr Zelensky on general mobilization. It applies to men between the ages of 18 and 60. They are prohibited from leaving the country.
