‘Game of Thrones’ actor Jason Momoa apologizes for Sistine Chapel photo
The artist posted a picture from the museum on social networks and wrote: “I love you Italy.” Users reminded him that it is forbidden to take pictures in the Sistine Chapel. They were outraged that the stars were allowed what ordinary visitors were not allowed to do. In response, Momoa posted an apology video.
“I wanted to say that if you felt disrespectful to your culture, then I did not have such a goal. I first came here when I was 19 or 20 to see the Sistine Chapel. I always wanted to and now I can bring my friends and team here. We only had a couple of days off to get to know these places,” he said.
The actor explained that during his visit to the Vatican, people wanted to take pictures with him. He agreed and got permission to take some pictures. Momoa apologized to those who considered his act disrespectful, and noted that he had made a large donation to the church.
