Producer Iosif Prigogine said that a whole era has gone with Yuri Shatunov
Producer Joseph Prigogine spoke about the death of the ex-soloist of “Tender May” Yuri Shatunov. About it informs KP.RU.
The showman said that what happened is reminiscent of the fragility of life and is shocking, and also expressed his condolences to the singer’s relatives. He believes that a whole era has gone with Shatunov.
“This is the era of time. For 34 years, the guy was in demand, not involved in any high-profile scandals. Those that exist are personal, they are associated with some kind of grievances. I remember 1988, when during the perestroika period an artist from an orphanage appeared who did not have a musical education, it was impossible. And he became a cult star,” said Prigogine.
He admitted that he had not seen the performer for many years. The producer explained that due to rare meetings, he did not know anything about the health of the musician.
Earlier Friday became knownthat 48-year-old Shatunov died in Moscow. The cause of death was a massive heart attack.
Yuri Shatunov was born in the Bashkir ASSR in 1973. His parents divorced when he was three years old, and at 11 his mother died. He spent his teenage years in an orphanage, where he met Sergey Kuznetsov, the head of the amateur circle, – from that moment the history of the Laskovy May group began.
