URALSK. KAZINFORM – After the collision of two buses in Uralsk, police officers of the West Kazakhstan region check all public transport. It is reported by MIA “Kazinform” with reference to the portal My city.
From August 2 to August 7, the operational and preventive event “Bus” is being held in the region. According to Timur Mayranov, head of the administrative police department of the WKO DP, not only buses, but also taxis will be checked as part of the PKO.
“From today, we will check all public transport in the region, as well as taxi drivers who are engaged in private transportation without registration. In relation to them, an administrative protocol will be drawn up under Article 463 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Engaging in entrepreneurial or other activities without registration”. In total, seven bus fleets provide services in the region, the state of transport of which we will have to check. Police officers are switching to an enhanced work regime,” T. Mayranov said.
Previously reportedthat two passenger buses No. 39 and No. 30D collided at the crossroads in Uralsk. 14 people were taken to the hospital, including a three-year-old child.
In total, since the beginning of the year, four accidents involving public transport have occurred in the West Kazakhstan region, in which one person died, three more were injured of varying severity.
