“It should be remembered that this infection does not spread as easily and rapidly as SARS-CoV2 or the flu. One of the main conditions for its transmission is close, prolonged contact with the patient without precautions, ”she said.

Pshenichnaya added that more significant problems are caused by the HIV pandemic and the seventh cholera epidemic, which began in the 1960s.
