To choose the composition, the easiest way is to focus on the SPF index, that is, the degree of protection, the specialist explained.

“If we are in the open sun, for example, on the beach, we need to choose an SPF of at least 30. We should not think that the longer we are in the sun, the stronger the protection should be, nothing like that. The protection factor should have an average degree so as not to absorb a large amount of these rays, not to get very hot, not to transfer this heat to the skin, not to cause any oncological diseases. If we walk around the city and stay in the air for a long time, then SPF 50 sunscreens are used. These are the two main numbers – 30 and 50, ”said Stanislav Arkannikov.

Earlier Russians listed the main dangers of the summer sun.
