Some Russians are waiting for 32-degree heat due to “temperature afterburner”

Heat in Moscow

Summer in Central Russia does not plan to give up its positions, Evgeny Tishkovets, chief specialist of the Phobos weather center, believes. On Thursday, August 4, he gave a forecast of what the weather will be like in the second half of this week.

The final summer month has come, the so-called climatic equator has already been overcome, but the first days of August turned out to be very warm, and the temperature will only continue to rise, the expert emphasized.

“At the start of August, summer turned on a temperature afterburner,” Tishkovets said. “The temperature is already rising to 27-29 degrees, more will follow.” According to him, in the coming days the air can warm up to 32 degrees.

“At the end of the first week of August, the temperature background in Central Russia will reach 27-32 degrees,” said the specialist in an interview with radio Sputnik. “The thermometers on the fifth and sixth of August will storm the thirty-degree mark.” Such a temperature regime is at least four to five degrees higher than the climatic norm, Tishkovets added.

In the first week of August, the anticyclone will determine the weather. It will be dry, sunny and warmer than it should be for the season. “Only with the onset of the next weekend, the influence of the atmospheric front will affect, because of which refreshing thunderstorms will rustle in places,” Tishkovets warned earlier.
