German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock warned about this on Saturday, May 14. She shared her opinion on this matter at a press conference following a three-day meeting of the heads of the diplomatic departments of the Big Seven (G7), which was held in the Wangels commune in northern Germany.

“Because of Russia’s actions, deliveries are stopped, prices are rising sharply – not only here, but all over the world – and a severe famine threatens,” said German Foreign Minister Burbock. The words of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country reports TASS. The politician called the current situation a “blockade of food exports”, which, from her point of view, is a conscious part of the “hybrid war”.

Earlier, Germany said that the situation in Ukraine threatens to exacerbate hunger. The Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany believes that it will become the strongest since the Second World War and lead to millions of victims.
