The victory of the Kalush Orchestra from Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest is unfair and political. This, evaluating the results of the competition, was stated by the first deputy chairman of the committee State Duma culture Elena Drapeko, informs “He speaks Moscow“.
“Eurovision has long ceased to be a song contest. It has become quite a political phenomenon. The last victory of Ukraine was also absolutely dishonest,” Drapenko said.
The deputy is sure that now the victory of the Kalush Orchestra does not belong to art and has become a demonstration of political predilections. Drapenko urged to forget about this competition and not take part in it.
