Russian Ambassador Antonov: US ignores questions about the activities of the military in biolaboratories in the CIS
Russian Ambassador to the USA Anatoly Antonov said that the United States continued to ignore Russia’s questions about the activities of the US military in the biolaboratories of the CIS countries. He stated this on the air of Solovyov Live, reports TASS.
According to the ambassador, the United States “is not very far ahead of the demands of the international community regarding the destruction of chemical weapons.” “Until now, we are brushed aside when we speak and ask to explain what the US military is doing in biolaboratories in the space of the CIS countries,” Antonov said, noting that the US is “inventing fairy tales” about Russia’s intention to use biological weapons in Ukraine.
“After all, this is complete nonsense,” the Russian ambassador concluded.
Earlier it was reported that the meeting United Nations Security Council on the subject of US biolaboratories in Ukraine was convened at the initiative of Russia. The organization of the hearings was announced on May 12 by the Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to UN Dmitry Polyansky. “We requested a public meeting of the UN Security Council to present new evidence on military biological programs conducted in US laboratories in Ukraine,” he said.
