China must stop provocative behavior amid US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan. About it on the air of the TV channel sky news said British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss, who is running for prime minister of the United Kingdom.

“I do not support China’s provocative language in this situation. And I call on China to de-escalate,” Liz Truss said. Her words quoted by RIA Novosti on Wednesday, August 3rd.

Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi visited Taiwan’s Legislative Yuan (parliament). China, in response to her visit to the island, said that it would take all necessary measures to protect its state sovereignty. The DPRK Foreign Ministry called the current situation as a provocation.

Taiwan has had its own administration since 1949. Official Beijing considers the island an integral part of China.
