Ukraine won Eurovision 2022

The Ukrainian group Kalush Orchestra with the song Stefania took first place in the international song contest Eurovision-2022. The final of the competition was held in Turin, Italy.

According to the results of the audience voting and assessments of the professional jury, representatives of Ukraine received 631 points. Second-placed Great Britain scored only 466 points, according to the official website of the competition.

Russia, by decision of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), did not take part in Eurovision 2022 due to the “unprecedented crisis in Ukraine”. The organizers explained this decision by “the values ​​on which the EBU is based”.
