The Boeing C-40C aircraft with registration number 09-0540 took off from the Hawaiian Islands and headed towards Asia. This is evidenced on Sunday, July 31, by the data of the Flightradar service, which tracks flights.

Aircraft like this are used to safely transport US leaders. And, in particular, members of the American Congress, reports RIA Novosti.

As part of his Asian tour, the Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi was going to visit Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia and Japan. She did not mention a visit to Taiwan, despite the appearance in the media of information about a possible trip.

Pelosi was originally supposed to go there in April. But the Asian tour had to be canceled due to her sudden infection with the coronavirus.

The press also featured data about the undesirability of Pelosi’s visit to the island.
