As part of a special police operation aimed at enforcing the Road Traffic Act, 9,890 vehicles were checked over the past 24 hours, the Interior Ministry said.

Over the past 24 hours, 22 drivers have been identified who got behind the wheel while intoxicated. Five of them drove after drinking alcohol from 0.5 to 1.2 ppm, 17 – more than 1.2 ppm, seven refused to be tested. It was established that 39 people were driving under the influence of drugs or their analogues. The six who were stopped for testing refused to be tested.
3,064 vehicles and 3,479 drivers and passengers were checked using the “line control” method; For established violations, 811 protocols and 301 AUAN were drawn up. 5 drivers were identified with an indicator of more than 1.2 ppm. It was established that six people were driving under the influence of drugs or their analogues.
