Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to amend the legislation governing the construction of local and regional airports.
According to document, published on the Kremlin website, the changes should be aimed at “eliminating excessive requirements for the design, construction and reconstruction of airports of regional and local significance with low flight intensity, as well as for the operation of such airports.”
At the same time, the head of state issued a decree on the inadmissibility of worsening conditions for passengers as a result of changes in the rules for air harbors.
The deadline for the execution of the order is August 31, 2022.
By the same document, Putin instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to prepare by May 10 an action plan for the celebration in 2024 of the 50th anniversary of the construction of the BAM and submit proposals for the creation of a railway route to the Barents Sea in the area of the Indiga River Bay.
