In Tatarstan, the decrease in passenger traffic after the introduction of QR codes occurred by 20-30%. About this on the air of the TV channel “Russia-24” reported Deputy Minister of Transport and Roads of the Republic Andrey Egorov.
“There is a reduction, preliminary, they give us 20-30 percent. There are also those whom we have deployed today – more than 1,500 people in Kazan alone. In other cities the figures are ten times smaller, but there are also, ”he said.
According to him, in general, there were no delays in public transport due to checks, with the exception of certain routes where passengers without QR codes refused to leave vehicles before the arrival of police officers. Delays on some routes reached 30 minutes, Yegorov noted.
The deputy minister said that there are people who refused to travel by public transport and preferred to get to their destination by private cars or by taxi.
