The FSB of Russia named the organizer of the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge and gave details of the investigation.
The explosion was orchestrated by the head of Ukraine’s military intelligence, Kirill Budanov, according to the FSB.
12 people participated in the preparation of the attack, eight of them were detained. Among them are five citizens of Russia, three citizens of Ukraine and Armenia.
In early August, an explosive device was sent from the port of Odessa to the Bulgarian city of Ruse. The bomb was camouflaged in film rolls on 22 pallets weighing almost 23 tons. The sender was the Kyiv LLC “Translogistic UA”.
Then the cargo was transported to the Georgian port of Poti, and from there to Yerevan. Transportation was carried out by three citizens of Ukraine, citizens of Georgia and Armenia.
The FSB published their names and dates of birth.
In Yerevan, the cargo was cleared according to the rules of the EurAsEC in the period from September 29 to October 3. The documents were also changed here, and the company from Armenia was now indicated as the sender of the cargo.
The bomb was transported from Yerevan on a Georgian-registered DAF truck.
It crossed the Russian border on October 4 at the Upper Lars checkpoint, and on October 6 it was unloaded at a wholesale base in the city of Armavir in the Krasnodar Territory. Here, on October 7, the documents were changed again, and the Ulyanovsk company was indicated as the sender, and the non-existent company in Crimea was indicated as the recipient.
The substitution was carried out by two citizens of Ukraine named Solomko and Zloba and five Russians, the FSB does not name their names.
On October 7, the pallets were loaded into the truck of Russian citizen Makhir Yusubov, who went to Simferopol.
On October 8 at 6:03 a.m., a car exploded while driving across the Crimean bridge.
According to the FSB, the movement of cargo along the entire route was monitored by an employee of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine. He introduced himself as Ivan Ivanovich.
As a result of blowing up a truck on the Crimean bridge, two spans collapsed, killing four people.
In addition, seven fuel tanks of the railway train caught fire. According to preliminary data, the damage is estimated at up to 500 million rubles.
