The total number of COVID-19 infections per day in Russia fell to a minimum since mid-October. At the same time, in some regions it increased to the highest level since the beginning of the pandemic.

Over the previous day, 33,996 cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection were detected in Russia, according to data from the federal operational headquarters. Below 34 thousand, the number of infections in one day fell for the first time since October 16.

Most patients with COVID-19 per day were detected in Moscow (2749), Moscow region (1871), Samara region (1529) and St. Petersburg (1060). At the same time, in the latter, the number of infections dropped to the level of two months ago.

In addition, Crimea (775), Nizhny Novgorod region (759), Krasnodar Territory (759), Voronezh (744) and Sverdlovsk (741) regions are noted among the leaders in terms of infections. In all these regions, the number of infected people has dropped markedly in recent days.
