The Russian embassy reminded the United States of the right to move troops within its borders

The Russian Federation poses no threat to any country, and the movement of its troops within its own borders is a sovereign right. This was recalled at the Russian Embassy in the United States in response to the informational speculations on the part of the States about the allegedly impending “aggression”. “Russia does not pose a threat to any country. The deployment of Russian troops on national territory is our sovereign right. This does not concern anyone, “TASS quotes the statement of the diplomatic mission, voiced in response to an inquiry from the Financial Times. The diplomatic mission noted that it is the North Atlantic Alliance that is moving its armed forces closer to the border with Russia. The diplomats also recalled that such statements about the “impending Russian aggression” were heard more than once, and turned out to be false. Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, responded to the statements of the head of the State Department, Anthony Blinken. Blinken said that it was not NATO that was planning aggressive actions against the Russian Federation, but, on the contrary, in recent years the aggression allegedly came from Russia. In response, the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry listed situations where NATO and the United States carried out direct military aggression and contributed to coups d’état.
