As follows from the verdict of the court, on May 15, 2018, when the transport crossing through the Kerch Strait was inaugurated, in which the President of Russia took part together with the heads of federal and regional authorities, the defendant, being on the territory of Ukraine, called the duty station from his mobile phone OMVD for the Temryuk district. He told the police that two explosive devices were installed on the bridge and that they would be detonated during the passage of the honorary procession. During the inspection of the bridge by the operational headquarters for security, no dangerous technical devices were found. The anonymous subscriber who called was quickly detained by officers of the FSB of Russia in the Krasnodar Territory.

As a result, the Judicial Collegium for Criminal Cases of the Krasnodar Regional Court, having examined the materials of the case on appeal, found no reason to change the sentence.
