Until minus 15: the timing of the arrival of a “serious winter” in Moscow has been announced

Serious winter frosts will come to the Russian capital on December 10. The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, spoke about this.

According to him, in the coming days Muscovites should expect temperatures below zero, but it will not drop much. So, on December 7, there may even be a short warming up to plus 1 degree.

However, from December 10, the daytime will be 7-10 degrees below zero. At night, thermometers will show 10-15 degrees. In some areas of the capital, the height of snowdrifts will reach up to 10 centimeters.

“This is already such a serious winter,” Vilfand said in an interview with TASS.

Earlier, he said that in some Russian regions in the near future strong frosts will come… So, according to the meteorologist, temperatures up to minus 20-29 degrees are expected in Murmansk, Vologda, Leningrad, Yaroslavl, Ivanovsk, Kirov regions, Perm Territory and Karelia.
