For the first time, a competition of methodological developments in the field of functional literacy of students was held in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug

The results of the first district competition of methodological developments of lessons and extracurricular activities aimed at developing the functional literacy of students have been summed up

The competition was held in three categories:

  • “Extracurricular event aimed at the formation of functional literacy of students”;
  • “A lesson aimed at the formation of natural science literacy of students”;
  • “A lesson aimed at the formation of global competencies of students.”

According to the results of the work of the expert commission, two teachers became winners.

In the nomination “Extracurricular event aimed at developing the functional literacy of students”, the best work was presented by a teacher of geography and biology from Shoina, Valentina Veshnyakova.

Tatyana Yakovleva, a teacher of biology and chemistry at city school No. 1, became the winner in the nomination “A lesson aimed at developing students’ natural science literacy”.

The winners were:

  • Ilya Vylka, teacher of biology and geography at secondary school No. 4;
  • teacher of chemistry and biology of city school No. 4 Elena Panchenko;
  • Maria Podvolotskaya, teacher of biology at the Nenets Secondary School named after A.P. Pyrerka;
  • biology teacher from the first school Elena Khabarova.

– The competition was held in the NAO for the first time, since work on the problems of functional literacy has been carried out recently. It was a trial year, such an experimental experience. We will hold such a competition in the future and develop it. So far, we are gaining momentum and there was only one participant from the settlements, – said the NRCRO methodologist Anzhelika Chaika.

According to the results of the competition, the best methodological developments were awarded with diplomas.

The event was organized by the Nenets Regional Center for the Development of Education.
