The Ministry of Digital Development of Russia is holding the second stage of the competitive selection of settlements from 100 to 500 people, in which 4G will appear in 2023

The winners will include one NAO settlement. To date, Karatayka is in the lead in voting. In total, there are 14 settlements in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug on the voting list, which, according to the results of this year’s census, meet the selection criteria.
Residents of settlements can vote on the portal public services or send a letter by mail. Among the settlements of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug participating in the selection are Andeg, Bugrino, Upper Pyosha, Vyucheisky, Kotkino, Labozhskoye, Oksino, Shoina, Karatayka, Amderma, Telviska, Velikovisochnoe, Ust-Kara, Kharuta.
– As of October 28, Karatayka is the leader in the voting with 97 votes, Labozhskoye is in second place with 95 votes, Kotkino closes the top three, 33 people voted for him. In total, 320 residents of the district took part in the voting, – explained in the department of digital development, communications and mass communications of the NAO.
Voting will last until November 12. The Ministry of Digital Development of Russia will sum up the results on December 26, 2022.
Recall that according to the results of the first selection of the Russian Ministry of Digital Development in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the Khongurei settlement won. The city received the largest number of votes in the county. High-speed 4G internet will be available in Hongurei in early 2023.
It should be noted that the program for eliminating the digital divide is being implemented by the Russian Ministry of Digital Development and PJSC Rostelecom as part of the federal project Information Infrastructure of the national project Digital Economy.
