The Ministry of Digital Development of Russia is conducting the second stage of the competitive selection of settlements from 100 to 500 people, in which 4G will appear in 2023. One NAO settlement will also be among the winners

Now Labozhskoe is leading in the voting. 249 people voted for the settlement. In total, 785 residents of the NAO have already taken part in the voting.
— First of all, the selection involves settlements that are located within 70 km from the nearest point of connection to the communication network of the operator of universal communication services: Kotkino, Labozhskoe, Oksino, Telviska, Velikovisochnoe, — explained in the department of digital development, communications and mass communications of the NAO.
Settlements that are located at a distance of more than 70 km from the nearest point of connection to the communication network of the operator of universal communication services and / or in territories with difficult geological conditions for cable laying, which fell into the quota for 2023, may not be included in the List and transferred to subsequent periods by the decision of the Russian Ministry of Digital Development due to high economic costs and long periods of construction of the necessary communication infrastructure.
Recall that there are 14 settlements in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug with a population of 100 to 500 (inclusive) on the voting list. These are Andeg, Bugrino, Verkhnyaya Pesha, Vyucheisky, Kotkino, Labozhskoye, Oksino, Shoyna, Karatayka, Amderma, Telviska, Velikotemporal, Ust-Kara, Kharuta.
Residents of settlements can vote on the portal public services or send a letter by mail. Voting will last until November 12. The Ministry of Digital Development of Russia will sum up the results on December 26, 2022.
Recall that according to the results of the first selection of the Russian Ministry of Digital Development in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the village of Khongurei won. The city received the largest number of votes in the county. High-speed 4G internet will be available in Hongurei in early 2023.
